Recycle It

Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) can last up to 15 times longer than incandescent lamps, but they do eventually wear out. As all CFLs contain mercury vapor, you can't just toss them in the trash. The answer is, of course, recycling!

Mermaid Name

The Chicken of the Sea mermaid has been around for about 60 years, but something was missing. She didn't have a name! That all changed when a contest was held with a $10,000 prize for submitting the best name.

The contest closed in February, and a resident of Urbana, Ohio was declared the winner. The winning name... Catalina.
