"Disney has been encouraging humans and mermaids alike to become part of each other’s worlds since Ariel first swam into our lives in 1989 — but now, they’re making it easier than ever."
Mermaid School is coming this spring, so prepare to get your tail wet by checking out this article at Bustle.
Tails
Author Jessica Wright is excited to announce that Tails, her first book in the Transformations trilogy, has been chosen as a finalist in LitNet's international "Small Towns, Big Stories" contest!
They will be flying Jessica out to Portland on March 28th for the AWP (Association of Writers & Writing Programs) Conference where the first place winner will be announced. Wish her luck, and feel free to check out her story.

Science and Mermaids
Unicorns, mermaids, and dragons are the stars of the Academy of Natural Sciences latest exhibit. In an article by Grace Dickinson at Philly.com, we learn how our favorite mythical creatures ended up in a science museum.
"These myths are the beginning of science in a lot of ways... Observing the natural world has evolved a lot over time and this was just the start of that."
Enjoy the article, but please don't tease the dragons.
Best wishes and starfishes,
